A polymer is a substance composed of high molecular weight molecules, made up of many identical small molecules, called monomers, linked by covalent bonds.
Flocculation is the step in which destabilized colloidal particles (or particles formed during the coagulation step) join together in agglomerations.
The flocculation step can be applied in water / wastewater treatment processes only in situations where the particles are already destabilized.
Therefore, it is a step that logically follows the coagulation. They can be used for all types of applications in: water treatment / purification, sludge thickening / dehydration, industrial processes, etc.
KEMCRISTAL flocculants are sanitary approved by the Ministry of Health – Bucharest Institute of Public Health for drinking water in water treatment plants.
Superfloc A 110 PWG – sanitary approved by the Ministry of Health (special product for drinking water)
Superfloc C 492 PWG - sanitary approved by the Ministry of Health (special product for drinking water)
